Happy Friday, Friends, Family, And Fans!
We made it another week! Some themes I would like to touch on today are Common Sense, Empathy, and Finding inner peace. In short, mindfulness. We live in this constant state of a perpetual butterfly effect. One action may make or break someone's day, month, or in some cases year.
Love the skin you're in. Life is not a comprehensive comparison game but a cycle of energy that is in a constant state of change. Some days are good, some are bad.
Things could always be worse, and they can always get better.
Gratitude is a grounding emotion that can repurpose a vast variety of negative emotions, such as anxiety, anger, anguish, regret, sadness, fear, guilt, disappointment, rage, apathy, and many more. Faith and Gratitude keep me above "water". When life is flooding you negative energy and emotions, take a step back. Acknowledge that it's there and that it may not change. If you can't acknowledge the truth, life will consume you.
By having gratitude, actions are less reactive, calm, and more composed.
Breathing exercises such as box breathing, can reduce tension and stimulate confidence.
Box Breathing:
1. Inhale slowly through your nose to a count of four.
2. Hold your breath for a count of four.
3. Exhale slowly through your mouth to a count of four.
4. Hold your breath again for a count of four.
5. Repeat the step as many times as you may like, need, or want.
Another calming technique I personally use is listening to binaural beats. I've managed to accomplish more things by simply listening to them. I don't have any vices and once again a straight edge (sober). Usually through my day I listen to them 5-10 minutes at a time.
Binaural beats have similar benefits to those of box breathing.
Meditation can be incorporated with box breathing and binaural beats.

Treat others as you would like to be treated. That truly means would you like if someone did what you're doing them?
I do stand up comedy and work with the public for Hugo Boss in Macy's.
Would I ignore a customer or make a hateful joke? No. I wouldn't because I expect respect and dignity when I go to buy something or the other 95% of things in life. A lot of my ideals are reflected through my music.
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Before you say or do something mindlessly, or assume things are bad from the jump, breathe, think, if I was in their shoes, what do they truly want.
Common Sense is a topic I'll touch on more in another post. Mindfulness is a skill we often overlook. Take time to indulge in the moment.
Studies indicate that listening to music is good for digestion.
Contrary to popular beliefs, chocolate does not cause acne.
The colour blue has a calming effect. It causes the brain to release calming hormones.
